The device emits high-frequency sounds at 45-second intervals both day and night. These sounds, which are barely audible to the human ear, repel animals and prevent them from getting used to the sound.

If the ultra-high sound is clearly audible or changes to a continuous tone, check the voltage of the inserted batteries and replace them if necessary.
